The Body Shop’s Tea Tree Flawless BB Creams – Review

The Tea Tree Flawless BB Creams is the first make up product that I’ve bought from the Body Shop in years. It’s said that the tea tree oil is a great alternative for getting rid of pimples. But unfortunately it just never worked for me or just wasn’t right for my skin type! I’m not so excited to share my review on this product because it doesn’t do what it claims to.  It’s a lightweight BB Cream formulated with tea tree oil and provides seamless coverage and combats blemish. It also gives natural shine-free coverage and is available in three universal shades’ 01) Light, 02) Medium, 03) Dark. It comes in a squeezable green tube with a convenient flip cap.

Tea Tree Flawless BB Creams

This BB cream is one of the very first bb creams I have ever tried. The product has a very noticeable tea tree oil scent, like all the other products from the same line. Also, it gives a refreshing cooling feeling for the skin. Well, If i talk about my experience, I bought it in medium and it didn’t really suit me. I had a lot of trouble getting the product blended nicely into the skin because the texture of the product is a lot thicker. I tried blending it with my fingers and that really didn’t help either. It seems that product doesn’t really integrate with the texture of my skin well. idk! Overall there was just something lacking with this one. It didn’t have that nice creamy formulation that I usually look for in a BB cream. Even though this Tea Tree Flawless BB Cream claims to perfect your complexion and fight the look of blemishes with  Tea Tree Flawless BB Cream. This dual action cream gives you flawless coverage whilst tackling the appearance of blemishes. Formulated with purifying Community Fair Trade organic tea tree oil from Kenya. – Blemishes and imperfections are instantly covered – Lightweight formula gives shine-free complexion – 3 shades blend seamlessly into all skin tones for natural-looking coverage. Also what I didn’t really liked about it that it will not cover your dark spots, will not mattify considering it is meant for acne prone skin and oily skin. There’s an absence of SPF may be a con for many but not for me! Beside this its Pricey but not worth the price.

Rating- 2/5

I would not recommend Tea Tree Flawless BB Creams to people with the oily skin tones, but Yes, Get it to try it out as the shades have yellow undertones and will suit variety of Asian skin tones. Maybe it works for you! 🙂
